Our hearing aids.

High comfort, small size, the latest technology and elegant design: today’s hearing aids have changed. Despite their small size, hearing aids offer maximum functionality and are also almost invisible. In order to meet all of your needs, we have developed 3 types of hearing aids:

  • The -Ear : These hearing aids at the forefront of technology are customizable and invisible to ensure total discretion. They are made-to-measure and slip entirely into the ear canal for undeniable hearing comfort. Whether or not you can have an in-ear hearing aid fitted depends on the shape and size of your ear canal.
  • The mini contours : these ultra modern and miniature hearing solutions are placed behind the ear to provide discretion. These new hearing aids even connect to the internet and our connected objects.
  • The traditional contours : these hearing aids the most robust and easy to handle are the most common. They hide behind the ear discreetly and are extremely effective in treating hearing loss.

The connected hearing aids and Maintaining your hearing aids.

Thanks to the Bluetooth function, hearing aids allow you to connect wirelessly to many devices. You can listen to music, answer phone calls and listen to TV sound directly in your hearing aids or through an app, up to 100 meters away.

Like any device, hearing aids may need servicing or troubleshooting from time to time. Your hearing aid may stop working for various reasons. You may want to consider one of the following options when you have a problem:

  • Quick Maintenance – Sometimes routine checks and cleaning are enough to solve the problem. You can do this yourself or ask your hearing care professional for help.
  • Hearing aid repair – At Audika, our experts are here to help you out. If your hearing aids fail you can visit any Audika center across France to diagnose the failure and, if possible, manage the repairs.
  • Replacing your hearing aid – If your hearing aid is too damaged to repair, has been repaired several times, or if your hearing aid is more than three or four years old, replacement may be your best option.

We advise you on your hearing aids.

Our recommendations are always based on hearing aids at free of charge. Hearing aids are not a ready-made solution. To find the hearing aid that best suits your needs, you should consider the following factors:

  • Your level of hearing loss
  • Hearing aid technology
  • Comfort
  • The price and the quality
  • Your lifestyle and listening situations
  • Your other health problems

You can choose whether you prefer hearing aids with batteries or rechargeable hearing aids with battery technology. We recommend a suitable design for the hearing aids. These can be classic BTE hearing aids, BTE hearing aids with an external receiver or in-ear hearing aids.

Battery-powered hearing aids

Usual hearing aids work with hearing batteries. The latter ensure the autonomy of the devices. However, they have a limited lifespan. Some batteries will last for 4 to 5 days , while others will last for several weeks.

Mini-contour hearing aid

MiniRITE hearing aids are a good compromise between power and discretion. They are suitable for low to moderate hearing loss and guarantee good sound quality.

BTE classic contour hearing aid

BTE ( Behind the Ear literally Derrière l’Oreille ) hearing aids are powerful and easy to handle. They are suitable for all types of hearing loss.

In-ear hearing aid

The range of in-ear prostheses allows several different devices, ranging from the invisible Audipuce to discreet ITE aids.

Rechargeable hearing aid

A few years ago, the rechargeable hearing aid was introduced. Equipped with a rechargeable battery , it is convenient to use and provides an autonomy of several hours, or even several days, depending on the device models.

Our experts are at your disposal to present the different models at your disposal.
